"And now the team has announced that Burnout Chaos: Drift Car Project will speed onto PlayStation 5 next month.
Sharing no association with Criterion’s classic Burnout series – though quite blatantly attempting to cash-in on the name – Burnout Chaos: Drift Car Project sees you driving into the heart-pounding world of high-octane racing."
And here I had hopes for an HD Remastered compilation of all the classic Burnout games before Burnout Paradise-or maybe...
Anyone knows if this 2.1 update is also for the PS4?
What about the last-gen versions though? Will update 2.1 ever come for the PS4 PRO & Xbox One X, at least?
Does it mention anywhere if it's also for the PS4?
Nah man, M$ should even buy whole nations out, while they're at it. Let's see them start with the USA.
If M$ get their way and are authorized to buy out Activision-Blizzard-King, right after going out of their (or anybody's) way and buy out, not just a publisher, but a whole freakin' holding, Zenimax, then I suppose they can just buy anything out (with the notable exception of the japanese gaming industry)?
Gotta love the USA, where only the $$$ talk. Up to a certain point that is...
In that event I'll just remain a retro-gamer, and have a blast in the ...
I think I have a better list of ACTUALLY unknown (at least compared to the ones mentioned in the article) good PS1 games (in no particular order):
-70's Robot Anime: Geppy-X: The Super Boosted Armor
-Adventures of Lomax
-Beyond the Beyond
-Chippoke Ralph no Daibouken: The Adventure of Little Ralph
-Chou Aniki: Kyuukyoku Muteki Ginga Saikyou Otoko
-DonPachi & DodonPachi
-Dragon Valor
-Ganbare Goemon: Uchu...
What merger, I thought it was a buyout wtf.
Anyway, not surprised to hear that. No wonder Kotick wants that deal to happen. It's that company where the CEO only makes about 300 times as much as the lowest paid employee, when the CEO's "work" is so demanding that he has plenty of time to sit at the boards of a half-dozen other companies, and his employees have to resort to using the freely given coffee and sugar to fight hunger because they're so poor they don...
Why a remake of MGS3 Snake Eater though? Shouldn't there be a remake of MGS1 from the get-go, then MGS2? It's like that forthcoming Silent Hill 2 remake, why don't they just start with the first outing?
Shouldn't the question be "Why Is PlayStation Making A Switch?"
I could really have done with a PS4 Pro version personally. Here's hoping they'll reconsider it and resume development when they're done with the new gen version, but I'm not holding my hopes up to be honest.
To which Sony can always reply: "pay for months on GP without ever owning any game, or pay to own games on PS", or something...
It's almost a miracle it's that good, you mean? At least it didn't hamper the game enough to stop it from being GOTY. It could have. Open-world games have never been the forte of japanese developers, as evidenced again lately with Sonic Frontiers...
"What do you think are the worst games to 100% complete? "
Batman Arkham Knight. Absolutely horrible game in this regard. The worst of all. And you had to collect each and every of those tiny bits of worthless tat in order to see the true ending.
"Days Gone director John Garvin blamed "woke journalists" for the poor reception to the game, but developer Bend Studio doesn't share his opinion."
I do.
Where's the Silent Hill 1 Remake?! Why start from 2?
I'm sure it plays very well and looks outstanding on the PS4 too, it's Sony Santa Monica Studio we're talking about after all. 2018 GOW running on my Pro still amazes me to this day.
No it's not, it makes perfect sense when you objectively look at it: Sony either built their studios, or bought studios with which they already had a preferential relationship. Guerilla Games, Housemarque, Bluepoint or Insomniac used to work mainly, and actually usually exclusively, for Playstation platforms prior to being acquired by Sony.
Please do, I missed all of it, it's all been taken down!
Well, in that memo Phil Spencer doesn't flatout dismiss those rumors, so I'd say they're gonna publish a few Xbox games on the PlayStation 5, but not as many as originally planned before the outcry. That will come later, in a much more discrete manner.
I do not believe for one second he's gonna say that's it with Xbox, we're done, no more hardware and we're going the Sega route, so calm down my Xbox friends.
